Lamb Cook-Off - Sunday (set-up 12:30pm, Judging 2:00pm)
Your chance to sample the best lamb recipes by expert cooks. Open to the public.

Live Musical Entertainment - All day Saturday & Sunday
Folk & variety musicians playing on the streets in historic downtown

Sheep Shearing Demonstrations - Saturday at 11:30am, 1:30pm & 3:30pm
An up close look at professional shearing as it happens.
Sheep To Shawl Competition - Saturday, 9am – 1pm
Teams of expert sheep shearers, spinners and weavers creating a finished product
from the sheep to the shawl. This is a timed event and the finished shawls will
be auctioned to the public. Don’t miss the auction at 2:30pm!

Photography Exhibit - All day Saturday & Sunday
Highlighting the talents of local photographers and the area for its agriculture
and pastoral beauty. Open to the public, Cash Prizes awarded.

Dog Shepherding Demonstration - Saturday & Sunday, noon, 2pm & 4pm
Live demonstrations by professional sheep herding border collies.
The Movie - All day Saturday & Sunday
New Movie! We now have volume II of a documentary of the local sheep industry,
past & present at the historic Waynesburg Theater. Watch them both this year.
Free admission
Children’s Activities - Saturday & Sunday 11am-4pm
Fun activities for children of all ages including felt making, free photos and
weed weaving.
Sunday Worship - 10:00 am Sunday
Worship service with speakers and special music by Greene Community Church
Kid's Pedal Tractor Pull - 2:00pm Sunday

For all kids ages 6 through 10 years. All entrants receive a participant’s
button and ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places in each age class.
Pedal tractors are provided. $1.00 registration fee. Pre-register by calling Jim
Forman at 724-377-0765 or email to jiforppp@alltel.net. Or register the day of
the event 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
Pedal Tractor Auction – Sunday

Following the Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull there will be a public auction of
authentic Pedal tractors donated by area tractor dealers. Don’t miss it!
Five custom collectible
pedal tractors will be auctioned during an intermission in the Kid's pedal
tractor Pull. Each tractor is authentic cast metal and has been fully customized
and painted by the following local pro shops: Emmanuel Auto Body, Kovalcheck's
Auto Body, Super Street Station, Michael's Auto Sales, Greene County Career and

Horse Drawn Wagon Rides – All Day Sunday
Rocky Ridge Acres Belgium Horses will take you on a tour of the festival grounds
and historic downtown Waynesburg.
Breed Pavilion – All day Both Saturday & Sunday
Live display of various breeds and types of sheep & alpacas. You can also
experience a “hands-on” exhibit of a variety of fleeces from different breeds
and types of fiber producing animals.
